I have two main streams of research. In my first stream of research, I focus on the individual level of analysis, examining employee understandings of wellbeing and the interface between work and family through qualitative and quantitative methods.

In my second stream of research, I conduct ethnographic observations and interviews aimed at the organizational level of analysis, exploring how organizational practices shape employee wellbeing and organizational resilience in the face of adversity. In so doing, I highlight how activities in and outside of the workplace impact employee wellness and workplace behaviors.
